6. Posting to the Salon blogs community (salonika @ RFB)

Now, any time you write a post you want to share with the entire Salon community, check that category name you made up before publishing your entry, sort of like this:

cross-posting to a salon blogs category

(I actually then unchecked my Home Page and sent the following post.)

Tell me the first time you post and I'll make a point of subscribing to your salonblogs category and picking up your contributions on the salonika page. Anyone else can do the same, mirroring as much or as little of the contributed feeds as well, so I don't monopolize all the traffic.

Your post will show up with a link back to your site. If you want just headlines or excerpts with links, tell me, and I'll follow your preferences.

Link Rot: Periodically web sites die, get mis-published to the wrong server, their content simply reconfigured, mis-templated, or placed behind a pay to play barrier. Banner, Flag, Masthead?: Okay so now I need to understand a bit about the image you use as a masthead. Could you give a run down? It strikes me as very similar to something Malevich would have done.... (Editorial)
Comment spam daily: Does any one have any idea why someone would post a random comment on this blog featuring a link to fda.gov? Who would that benefit? It makes no sense to me. Once again, though, I feel compelled to acknowledge that Jay Allen's MT-blacklist rocks.... (Blogosphere)
Africa blogging: Over at BuzzMachine, I just noticed, Jeff Jarvis is linking to some blogs from Africa: Africa blogs: Since I'm a blog internationalist, often linking to Iranian, Iraqi, and German blogs, a reporter emailed me this morning asking whether there were blogs from (or about) Africa. I follow a few and I... (Blogosphere)
filchyfeed: OK, dude, I set up an RDF (RSS 1.0) full-entry feed featuring just filchyboy's posts to RFB. I also have begun cleaning up the sidebar, removing some of the old personal weblog affectations, replacing a bunch of the feeds from my outside blogs with feeds from each of our primary blogs,... CSS, RSS, M-O-U-S-E: Re Blogistan Editorial: Headlines CSS? & RSS for Posters I am concerned though in that you mentioned a CSS way of maintaining classic "headline" style. I am most interested in how to do such a thing. Any pointers? Actually, I'm afraid this is wishful thinking on my part. I'm not aware... (Editorial)
