You're like Joan Rivers, so enmeshed in this "Personality" you've created that you've burned your bridges and any other side of you would be a betrayal to your Fans. The fans you obviously believe you have and feel compelled to spoon feed, even when it makes you sound kinda, well, whiny.
For example, this Sheryl Crow hissy you threw in Salon this week. "Sheryl Crow, Idiocy of the Week"? Please. Girl, what planet do you live on? I'm not even that politically savvy but I could rattle off about a million other Bigger, More Obvious Idiocies in my sleep. Yeah, I know, not quite the Glamazon Aura you're going for, but still.

I've long been absolutely transfixed by the picture of Professor Lessig on his blog. I love that picture. Deep in thought, working like hell to get the words out on the net, pensive, focused, serious.......dreamy?
But she really loves him for his mind:
It's just about the most perfect picture of someone in the act of blogging I've ever seen. It gives us something to which we should all aspire, dedicated thought and communication.

In the meantime, who watches the watchmen? Everyone seems to think that Karl Rove is W.'s brain (as Bill Kristol was once Quayle's). Is there a blogger out there who is systematically watching Rove's every movement and public utterance, every leak related to him, every profile or feature, every on-the-record statement by ex-administration people like DiIulio and Frum?
Maybe there already is a RoveWatch blog. I should be searching for that, I realize... OK, Google shows no blog called "RoveWatch." There's a placeholder GeoCities site by that name. A search for "karl rove" blog yields a bunch of snarky posts, rebuttals, and comments but no single blog devoted to dogging the heels of the man alternatively known to his boss as Boy Wonder and Turd Blossom.
Any ideolarians or seminarians or semiotarians willing to take on the job? If I had the time, and a clue, and a coherent left-wing oppositional philosophy I'd volunteer, so that rules me out. Humor is essential. Oliver Willis could do it. I'd nominate him as for Antirove, but my gut tells me he is already spread pretty thin (and not just from the lo-carb diet).
So, any takers?

Put up flyers of your friends, or fiddle together a self-portrait. People who know me will realize that the likeness above is pretty crude, but I think if I'd been willing to spend a lot more time tweaking it, it could have come out pretty well, and already it's somewhere in the family tree.
My friend Andy (who also pointed me to the Touchgraph Google browser, which I'll be playing with next) managed to develop an incredible likeness of himself, although he did say it took quite a while and he was lucky they had "his" eyes on file.
They don't have hoodies, so you can't make a unabomber. Won't this put a bunch of police composite sketch artists out of business?
