MailBucket, an email-to-RSS gateway

Reading a comment thread discussing Jeremy Allaire's RSS-Data proposal, I came across an announcement for MailBucket, an email-to-RSS gateway.

This allows you to subscribe to your own email in a news aggregrator.

What I need is an RSS-to-email gateway, though, so I can send out my posts as email and enable subscribers without relying on Bloglet.

I just started playing with another email to rss gateway... http://mail.byrss.com

Basically I got an account and send content to an email address and that adds it to my rss feed.

It's Cory's world, we just live in it: I was rereading http://www.oreillynet.com/lpt/a/network/2002/03/08/cory_google.html by Cory Doctorow (after following Scott Rosenberg's link to Andrew Googman on the death of metatags. As I mentioned in Scott's comments, it's keyword metatags that have the least efficacy and the most potential for gaming of indexers, although I agree with another commenter who suggested that... Meta linking to your RSS feed: Per dive into mark, I just added a link tag indicating this blog's rss feed. The code I added should work for any Radio blog whose RSS feed is named rss.xml: <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss xml" title=\"RSS\" href="<%radio.macros.weblogUrl ()%>rss.xml">... Accommodating email subscribers with bloglet.com: At the Berkeley J-school weblog panel* an audience member asked if most blogs used email to send reminders or even as an alternative mode for reading.
