Obviously your mileage may vary but NNW doesn't have a problem with password protected feeds. I suspect we'd need to do a roundtable on what tools everyone uses to see whether this is a constant.

I'll post a small tutorial on .htaccess later today or tonight when i have a chance.

Thanks, I will walk through tutorial and hope that will fix whatever blindspot I've wandered into this time.
