Is Google The Next DNS?

It seems reasonable that if the client has the Google Toolbar exposed the app itself could insert the ads. This would allow Google to deliver caches to some portion of its total searches. I suspect that would bring down the per search cost. If the numbers of Google Toolbar clients exceed some threshold it would make sense to implement such a thing.

Just a thought experiment. I have no idea if a toolbar app can write to the window, on which platforms, etc. (Follow the link and all of this will make sense.)
