I don't see any value in this. I have no problem with "secular" awards but this is all part of the warblogger faction which I see little value in.

As mismanaged as it was I saw more value in the folks doing the previous ones. Is this like the Acdemy Awards moving the calender in order to circumvent the Golden Globes? It certainly looks like it.

Yeah, I don't really care that much. I did self-nominate RFB for the last round of Bloggies or whatever they were called, but don't expect to win any beauty contests.

The critter descriptions soundsl ike it's taken from Truth Laid Bear's ecosystem categories.

It is. This is not the bloggies of the past. This is an attempt by the warblogger crew, using the ecosystem, to steal the thunder (as it were) of the Fairvue bloggie awards which should start January 1st.

Yea it looks like little green footballs is breaking away!!! What a fine piece of quality writing. They really do deserve to win.

Joanne Jacobs reminds us that there aren't that many female written blogs. (Ignoring of course the 10's of thousands of them out there.)

I do hope she wins!
